In today’s increasingly stressful and distracted world, the need for parents to disconnect and reconnect is more important than ever.

MBSR takes a mindfulness-based approach to stress reduction, in the course of 8 weeks we will learn tools to help us be more aware of the stressors in our lives, understand their impacts and how to manage them – leading us to better interpersonal relationships and a richer life.

 When mum and dad pioneer mindful living, the whole family’s mindfulness grows. Some universal themes that we explore in MBSR which I find particularly helpful as a parent: Acceptance – Attention- Attunement – Empathy – Discernment – Kindness – Patience – Self-compassion.
