NEW THIS DECEMBER!  We are excited to introduce a 5-day Capoeira/Resilience camp with a partner and friend of ours –  “Mighty” May Ooi, founder of Acao Quilombo Capoeira.

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art form, combining self-defence, acrobatics, dance, music and song.

Martial Art  is an ancient method of training the mind and body to act as one.  Children who practice martial arts reap many benefits in several areas of life Self Discipline, Self Confidence, Respect etc.

What To Expect –

• 2 hours daily Capoeira with May
• Social-Emotional learning (Classroom & Games)
• Outdoor activities – Pet therapy, Swimming
• Creative Arts

Unplug, disconnect from technology, and connect with friends and nature in a green and spacious environment.

This camp will be kept small to meet learning objectives – limited spaces.

May Ooi, also known as Mighty May, is an inspiration to many.  An ex-swimming olympian, winner of MMA One Championship at age 41, a medical doctor AND a human with a generous heart.  May’s can-do spirit is inspirational and is something she hopes to instil in young people.
